Acceptable use policy

Updated 17 October 2026

HR Copilot is for fair, lawful hiring. This page lists what customers and their users must not do with it. It's part of our terms of service.

1. Fair hiring

Don't use HR Copilot to treat candidates unfairly or unlawfully.

  • Don't discriminate unlawfully, for example because of race, colour, sex, religion, nationality or social origin, disability, age or pregnancy. Lawful measures, such as those that favour hiring UAE nationals, are allowed.
  • Don't ask candidates for sensitive information, such as religion, health, political views or criminal records, unless the law requires it for the job.
  • Don't set screening rules, job questions or interview criteria that are designed to exclude people unlawfully.
  • Don't reject a candidate on an integrity flag alone.

2. Candidates' information

Collect only what you need, and only what you're allowed to.

  • Only add candidates who applied, agreed, or whom you're otherwise allowed to contact.
  • Don't record candidates, or process their information, without the notices and consent the law requires.
  • Don't use candidates' information for anything other than hiring, such as marketing unrelated to the job.
  • Don't sell or share candidates' information outside your organisation, except as the law allows.

3. The AI interview and assessments

Use them as intended.

  • Don't use the AI interview to collect information unrelated to the job.
  • Don't use AI scores or summaries as the only reason for a decision, except through automatic rejection you've enabled, where candidates can ask for a review.

4. Security and the service

Don't harm HR Copilot, other customers or anyone else.

  • Don't try to get into accounts, workspaces or systems you're not allowed into.
  • Don't test, scan or attack HR Copilot's security without our written permission.
  • Don't upload viruses or harmful code, or use HR Copilot to send spam or misleading messages.
  • Don't overload the service, or scrape it with automated tools.
  • Don't pretend to be someone else, or another company.

5. Copying and competing

Don't copy HR Copilot or use it to compete with us.

  • Don't use HR Copilot to build or improve a competing product.
  • Don't copy its features, design, text or workflows.
  • Don't reverse engineer it, or test or benchmark it for a competitor.

6. Fair use

Features we describe as unlimited are for normal hiring. If use goes far beyond that, we may slow it down after talking to you.

  • "Unlimited" means you don't count or pay per use in normal hiring by your organisation. It doesn't mean any volume, for any purpose.
  • Examples of use far beyond normal: using one job to screen large numbers of people for unrelated roles, uploading candidates in bulk who never applied, or using automated tools to push work through HR Copilot.
  • If we see use like this, we tell you first and look for a fix with you. If it goes on, we may slow down or limit the feature involved for that job or workspace.

7. Breaking these rules

We may suspend access, remove content or end the agreement.

If you or your users break this policy, we may suspend access, remove the content involved, or end the agreement, as our terms of service describe. Where we can, we tell you first.

8. Reporting misuse

Tell us if you see HR Copilot being misused.
